Mission Matters

 Our ministries include a laundry mat ministry, community thanksgiving meal, and distributing weekly bags of food to school children. Our students hold a toy drive and we share the gospel with our neighbors in a variety of ways.

We partner with the North Pulaski Association and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention to share the gospel through medical/dental clinics, block parties, and other ministry options. We also give to the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home. In addition, we go on mission trips to places like Red Lodge, Montana and St. Louis, Missouri.

Each year we fill and distribute Operation Christmas Child boxes through Samaritan's Purse. Our members go on mission trips to places like Eleuthera and Guatemala. 

Throughout the year, Second Baptist members contribute to the Global Missions Offering. Portions of this offering are given to local ministries as well as the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, Dixie Jackson State Missions Offering, Annie Armstrong North American Missions Offering, and the Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions.
